The Perrine Bridge is approximately 1,500 feet in length with a main span of 993 feet and a deck height of 486 feet above the Snake River. It is the eighth highest bridge in the United States. It carries U>S> Highway 93 over the Snake River Canyon connecting Twin Falls County with Jerome County and Interstate 84.
The Snake River Plain is a geologic feature located primarily within the state of Idaho. It stretches about 400 miles westward from Northwest of the state of Wyoming to the Idaho-Oregon border. The plain is a wide, flat bow-shaped depression and covers about a quarter of Idaho. Most of Idaho's major cities are in the Snake River Plain, as is much of its agricultural land.
Pelican Fishing - American Falls
Pelican fishing just below the American Falls Dam. A concrete gravity-type dam. Located near American Falls, Idaho, on river mile 714.7 of the Snake River. At 56,000 acres the reservoir is the largest on the Snake River. The dam and reservoir are a part of the Minidoka Project on the Snake River Plain and are used primarily for flood control, crop irrigation, power generation and recreation.
Spring water flows into the churning Snake River from Auger Falls high banks deep in the Snake River Canyon. The canyon ranges up to 500 feet deep and .25 miles wide, and runs for just over 50 miles.

Palisades Project created by an earth-fill dam on the Snake River. The dam was completed in 1957 and provides irrigation water, flood control, recreation, and scenic beauty: it features a four-turbine hydroelectric power plant. The dam can potentially generate 176.5 MW of electricity, and has storage capacity of 1.2 million acre-feet.

Hells Canyon is a 10-mile wide canyon located along the border of easter Oregon, eastern Washington and western Idaho
Shoshone Falls is a waterfall on the Snake River in Southern Idaho, approximately 3 miles northeast of the city of Twin Falls. Sometimes called the "Niagara of the West". Shoshone Falls is 212 feet high-45 feet higher than New York's Niagara Falls- and over a rim nearly 1000 feet wide in the Snake River Canyon.
The Snake River flows through Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, North America's deepest river gorge at 7,993 feet. The canyon was carved by the powerful waters of the Snake River, which flows more than a mile below the can's west rim on the Oregon side and 7,400 feet below the peaks of Idaho's Seven Devils Mountain range to the east.
Caldron Linn, as it is typically called, is a hidden gem of a waterfall that sits on the Snake River near Murtaugh, just outside of Twin Falls.

Reflections on a cloudy day
Fall is my favorite season along the river as it runs through the Snake River Canyon. As I watch the reflection of the leaves in the flat waters of the river a power boat travels by creating this wake of color.
